About the Pufferfish
A pufferfish is a slow, round-bodied fish best known for its surprising trick: when it feels threatened, it gulps water and blows up into a spiky ball too big for a predator to swallow. Its name comes from Greek words meaning four teeth, which are fused into a strong beak for crunching shells. Many pufferfish are also poisonous.
