About the Pelican
The pelican is a large water bird with a very long beak and a stretchy pouch of skin underneath it. It scoops up fish and water together, then tilts its head to drain the water out before swallowing the catch. Some pelicans fish in groups, herding fish into shallow water to make them easier to grab. This printable fits a lake, river, or seabird unit, and the big pouch makes a fun shape to trace.
