About the Hibiscus
Hibiscus is a group of flowering plants in the mallow family, known for very large, showy blooms with a long central column of stamens. Several hundred species grow in warm parts of the world, from small herbs to woody shrubs and little trees. The flowers of some kinds are dried to brew a tart red tea.
