About the Dandelion
Dandelions are common flowering plants in the daisy family, with bright yellow heads that turn into round puffballs of seeds. Each seed carries a tiny parachute of white hairs, so a breeze can float it far from the parent plant. Two of the most widespread kinds came from Europe and now grow across North America.
