About the Drone
Drones are small flying machines that carry no pilot on board and are steered by remote control or a computer. Many are lifted by several little spinning rotors, letting them hover in place and turn quickly. People use them to take photos from above, check crops, and even deliver small packages, and some are tiny enough to sit in your palm. Add this shape to a 'how things fly' center and have kids draw a camera hanging underneath.
- A drone has no pilot inside; a person on the ground flies it or it follows a set path on its own.
- Some drones film movies from angles a full-size helicopter could never reach.
