About the Protea
Protea are flowering plants from South Africa, sometimes called sugarbushes. What looks like one huge flower is really a cluster of small flowers ringed by stiff, colorful leaf-like bracts, and the whole head can be as wide as a dinner plate. They are the lead members of an ancient plant family. Their bold, spiky shape makes this printable stand out; color the pointed bracts in warm pinks and reds.
