About the Lantana
Lantana is a flowering plant in the verbena family, made up of about a hundred and fifty species from the warm Americas. Each rounded head is a tight cluster of tiny flowers, and the colors often shift from the center outward, so one head can show two or three shades at once. In many regions it has spread far beyond its home and become a hardy weed. Trace the little clustered flowers on this printable and color each ring a different shade.
- A single lantana cluster can show two or three colors at the same time.
- The flower comes from the warm Americas but has spread widely elsewhere.
- Lantana belongs to the verbena family of plants.
