About the Baryonyx
A long, narrow snout much like a crocodile's set Baryonyx apart from other dinosaurs. Its jaws were lined with many small teeth, just right for gripping slippery fish. On each hand it carried a big curved claw, which is how it got its name, 'heavy claw'. Use it in a riverside theme, tracing the path from its long snout to that big hand claw.
- Baryonyx had a long, narrow snout like a crocodile's.
- It ate fish, gripping them with many small teeth.
- Its name means 'heavy claw', after the big claw on each hand.
