About the Bowling Pin
A bowling pin is a tall, bottle-shaped target that players try to knock down by rolling a heavy ball at it. Pins are usually made of wood coated in smooth plastic and stand a little taller than a ruler. In the most common game they are set up in a triangle of ten, and knocking them all down at once is called a strike.
