About the Conch
A conch is a large sea snail that lives inside a thick, spiral shell with a wide opening. The animal inside creeps along the sandy seabed, grazing on algae. Empty conch shells are often used as horns, and holding one to your ear lets you hear a soft, ocean-like whoosh. Use this in an ocean unit and trace the path around the curling shell.
