About the Grapes

Grapes are small, round fruits that grow in clusters on woody vines. Each grape is actually a berry, and a single bunch can hold dozens of them. They can be eaten fresh, dried into raisins, or pressed into juice. Once picked, grapes do not keep ripening, so they are gathered when they are already sweet. Set this printable out for a counting game where kids tally the grapes in the bunch.

  • A grape is botanically a berry.
  • Grapes grow in clusters on woody vines.
  • Dried grapes become raisins.
