About the Nachos
Nachos are tortilla chips covered with melted cheese and piled with toppings like meat, beans, salsa, or sour cream. The dish was invented in 1943 by a Mexican cook named Ignacio Anaya, whose nickname Nacho gave the snack its name. He put it together for a group of hungry customers using just the chips and cheese he had on hand. Bring this printable to a party table where kids can trace the chips before the real snack comes out.
