About the Cow
Cattle are large, domesticated grazing animals kept on farms all over the world, mainly for milk, meat, and leather. The adult female is called a cow, the adult male a bull, and a young one a calf. Because their eyes sit on the sides of the head, cows can see nearly all the way around them without turning. Trace the path from nose to tail on this printable, then color the cow's spots however you like.
- A cow's eyes are set on the sides of its head, giving it a very wide field of view.
- Cattle chew a soft cud, food they bring back up to grind a second time.
- Farmers keep cattle for milk, meat, and leather.
