About the Pachycephalosaurus
A thick dome of solid bone sat on top of Pachycephalosaurus's head, like a built-in helmet. Its name means 'thick-headed lizard', and that dome may have been used for head-butting or shoving contests. This plant-eater lived in western North America right at the end of the dinosaur age.
