About the Chameleon
Chameleons are lizards famous for changing the color of their skin. They can shift shades to blend in, warm up in the sun, or show how they are feeling. Each of a chameleon's eyes can move on its own, so it can look in two directions at once. This makes a lively addition to a reptile or rainforest theme, especially fun to color in different shades.
- Chameleons can change the color of their skin.
- Each eye can move separately, letting a chameleon look two ways at once.
- Most chameleons live in Africa and on the island of Madagascar.
