About the Moped
A moped is a small, simple motorbike that travels a bit faster than a bicycle. Long ago they had bicycle pedals as well as a tiny motor, which is where the name moped came from. Because they are slow and light, they are easier to ride than a full motorcycle. Add this printable to a wheels-and-motion unit and trace the path over its little frame.
- The word moped comes from a motorbike that also had pedals.
- Mopeds are small and slow, moving just a little faster than bicycles.
