About the Pair of dice
Dice are small cubes with a different number of dots, from one to six, on each of their six faces. You roll them to get a random number, which is why they turn up in so many board games and games of chance. There is a neat hidden rule to a standard die: the dots on any two opposite faces always add up to seven. Count your way through this dice maze, a lucky fit for a numbers or board-game theme.
- On a standard die, opposite faces always add up to seven.
- Dice are rolled to make random numbers for all kinds of games.
