About the Saw
A saw is a tool with a tough blade lined with sharp teeth for cutting through wood and other material. You push and pull it back and forth, and the little teeth chew away a thin slot as you go. The teeth are bent slightly outward so the blade does not get stuck. Add this printable to a woodworking lesson and trace along the row of teeth.
- A saw's teeth are bent slightly to each side so the blade won't jam.
- Pushing and pulling the saw lets the teeth chew through the material.
