About the Ocarina
An ocarina is a small wind instrument shaped like a rounded egg or bird, usually made of clay. You blow into a little spout and cover the finger holes to change the notes, and its sound is soft and whistle-like. The familiar rounded version was invented in Italy in the 1850s. Print this for a music lesson and trace around the little body of the ocarina.
