About the Pig
The pig is a smart, curious farm animal that will eat almost anything, from grain to vegetable scraps. Pigs cannot sweat well, so they roll in mud to cool off and to shield their skin from the sun. They were tamed long ago in two separate places, the Near East and China. Trace the curly tail on this printable, then color your pig pink and give it a muddy patch to wallow in.
- Pigs roll in mud to cool down because they cannot sweat well.
- They are omnivores and will eat both plants and scraps.
- Pigs were domesticated separately in the Near East and in China.
