About the Pliosaurus
A short neck and a huge, heavy head full of long teeth made Pliosaurus a powerful sea hunter. Unlike its long-necked plesiosaur cousins, it packed its strength into massive jaws that could crunch through almost anything. It swam using four strong flippers about 150 million years ago. Use it in a sea-monsters theme, tracing the path from its big head along its body.
