About the Brontomerus
Unusually powerful thigh muscles gave Brontomerus its name, which means 'thunder thighs'. Scientists think this long-necked plant-eater may have used a strong kick to defend itself, or to help it climb steep, rocky ground. It lived early in the Cretaceous period. Use it in a dinosaur-names activity, tracing the path down to its mighty back legs.
